As a Security Officer Residential Patrol in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and help to confirm that authorized individuals, visitors, and/or vendors are entering according to property procedures.
• Document daily activity, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicate with property staff and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
