Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist tenants and visitors with directions and questions, and document and communicate observations to the team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, tenant spaces as directed, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and lobby/garage activity as assigned, verifying authorized entry, assisting with directions, and reporting suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site management and/or emergency services as needed and documenting actions taken.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate key observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift transitions.
