As a Security Officer Residential Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in San Marcos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear, accurate incident reports.
  • Maintain required patrol logs, daily activity reports, and other documentation while communicating professionally with client representatives, public agency personnel, and emergency responders.
