As a Security Officer Residential Full Time Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document activities, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential housing community.
Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community procedures; provide directions and assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and service needs to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
