As a Security Officer Residential Full Time Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document activities, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential housing community.
  • Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community procedures; provide directions and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and service needs to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
