Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in Binghamton, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a residential location, providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will assist residents and visitors, answer inquiries, and maintain detailed logs, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist residents and guests with inquiries and requests, helping to create a welcoming environment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, according to site-specific procedures.
