Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a residential location, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting security-related operations. You will assist residents and guests, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter incidents and fosters a secure environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at the residential location.
Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Support the enforcement of building policies and procedures to help to deter disruptive behavior and/or unauthorized activities.
