As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by managing access control, monitoring alarm panels, and providing a welcoming presence for tenants and visitors. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment, reflecting Allied Universal’s commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and assisting with visitor management processes.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, coordinating with building management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, or maintenance issues observed at the front desk area.
Maintain a professional presence and help to deter unauthorized activities through attentive observation and communication.
Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing information and assistance as requested, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
