As a Security Officer Residential Community Interior and Exterior Patrol in Rochdale, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entry points, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
