Job Description As a Security Officer - Refinery Rover Patrol in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support access control and incident reporting. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- Have supervisory experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, hazardous material-related notifications, and access issues.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, process areas, loading and unloading zones, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining sign-in and sign-out documentation, and directing vendors and drivers to designated areas.
- Complete timely reports for incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
