As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help support a welcoming environment by conducting routine patrols, staying highly visible, and responding to alarms and access control activity. You will use computers and/or tablets to document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service while helping reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have alarm panel experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have access control or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for escalation.
  • Monitor access points and vehicle entrances, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor and/or delivery logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Complete timely written reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnover, and support investigations by preserving relevant details and/or video review requests.
