Job Description As a Security Officer Reception Specialist in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor lobby activity, and support a polished, customer-focused environment. In this stationary role, you will help with security-related concerns through strong communication, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, agile, and innovative team.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk post within a professional financial services location.
Greet employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verify identification and appointments, and help manage access control and visitor sign-in processes in accordance with site guidelines.
Monitor lobby and reception areas for unusual activity, answer questions, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details through reports and required notifications.
Support front desk operations by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining awareness of entry points, and following Allied Universal protocols for customer interaction and incident reporting.
