About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will help support a welcoming atmosphere through attentive front desk presence, visitor assistance, access support, and clear communication. In this customer-facing role, you will help address security-related concerns while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, assist with access control procedures, and help to address guest inquiries, visitor check-in, and credential verification in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
  • Support daily front desk operations for a hotel location by observing surroundings, documenting security-related events, and reporting unusual activity according to post instructions.
