About The Position
As a Security Officer Reception Security Desk in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Join Allied Universal at a shelter location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, supporting access control, monitoring visitor activity, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
- Observe front desk activity and surrounding entry areas, document security-related incidents and/or unusual activity, and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
