As a Front Desk Officer at a busy automotive location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming guests, managing access, and monitoring activity from a central post to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support smooth daily operations through clear communication, accurate logging, and professional customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing sign-in and sign-out processes, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing authorized guests to the proper departments.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other building systems at the front desk, reporting irregular activity and documenting observations to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate reports and logs, including visitor records, incident documentation, and key and package accountability, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.
