About The Position

As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location in a front desk post where you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, answer questions, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and assist with inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials as directed by site policy, and monitoring entry points from the front desk area.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document actions taken, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
