As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs while supporting a professional lobby experience. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and help to de-escalate issues when needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor logs per location requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Document security-related activity, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
