About The Position

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access, greet visitors, monitor front desk activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures at the front desk within a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting arrivals, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Support front desk operations by answering phones, managing visitor and delivery check-in processes, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns.
