About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Access Support in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Serve as a front desk point of contact, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor entry activity, receive deliveries, and communicate security-related concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation while presenting a professional, customer-focused presence at the front desk.
