About The Position

As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol Coverage in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with visitors and tenants, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor the location for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to address any security-related issues that arise on site.
