About The Position

As a Security Officer Protective Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with professionalism. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other designated areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
Support emergency response activities, assist with access control and visitor-related procedures, and provide clear directions during alarms, evacuations, and/or other property-related events.
