As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports regarding patrol activities, observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
