As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control activities and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with routine inquiries, documenting daily activity, and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
