About The Position

As a Security Officer - Property Mobile Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at government transportation facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and/or contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency services when directed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
