About The Position

As a Security Officer Property Access in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support badge, visitor, and delivery processes as assigned, while providing courteous assistance and clear directions to help promote an orderly environment.
