As an Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will use access-control systems, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations through a visible, customer-focused presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location; verify identification, credentials, appointments, and authorized access in accordance with site policies.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access, document visitor and contractor activity, and direct guests to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
