As a Security Officer Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture grounded in teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help confirm that only authorized individuals enter restricted or controlled areas in accordance with location procedures.
• Support daily operations at a government location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance concerns, disturbances, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
