As a Security Officer Unarmed Premises Patrol in Forest Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a welcoming cultural institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and support orderly operations during services, events, and daily activities.
• Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or incidents requiring follow-up.
