As a Security Officer Customer Relations Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff and appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support the protection of artwork, exhibits, and restricted areas by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders and incident reporting protocols.
