About The Position

As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Trenton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication while supporting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any concerns.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.
