As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Trenton, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication while supporting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any concerns.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.
