As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document activities, and support a caring, agile team that leads with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns to report.
  • Monitor access points such as lobbies, gates, and loading and receiving areas by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining required logs and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, disturbances, and/or hazardous condition reports, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Complete timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
