Job Description As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Sauget, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the chemical and petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the facility.
Report and document any unusual occurrences or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and potential issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or spill responses, in accordance with site-specific procedures.
