As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter potential security-related incidents. By conducting regular patrols, remaining visible, and providing exceptional customer service, you contribute to a secure environment. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the facility.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while on patrol.
- Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the location as directed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
