As a Security Officer, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support routine patrols of assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible, customer-focused presence, communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and contractors while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at an industrial manufacturing location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, managing visitor sign-in, and coordinating with site contacts for authorization.
Monitor and report irregular conditions such as unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Complete required security-related logs and reports, including incident documentation, access activity records, and shift turnover information, in accordance with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checking doors, loading areas, and restricted zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
