As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control, monitor entrances and alarm activity, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and security-related policies.
Control entry and exit at gates and/or guard shacks by verifying identification, checking credentials, processing visitor logs, and directing traffic to approved locations.
Monitor alarms, radios, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity to appropriate personnel in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
