As a Security Officer - Plant Entry in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor records, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
Support day-to-day operations by communicating with staff, assisting with incident-related directions, and completing required reports, logs, and other assigned documentation.
