About The Position

As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will be key to supporting a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of chemical and petrochemical locations.
Monitor for unusual activities, potential hazards, and/or breaches of site policies, promptly reporting findings as required.
Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and any observations during patrols for site management and Allied Universal reporting purposes.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors as required by site policies.
Support emergency response efforts, including providing information and assistance to emergency personnel as needed in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to address concerns and relay important information.
