About The Position

As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol Driver in Anchorage, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will be a visible presence, engage with tenants and visitors, and support a secure environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity—reflecting our values of putting people first and delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor the location for unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with crowd control or visitor management as needed.
