Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, check credentials, and observe the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries to support authorized access and orderly site operations.
Support loss prevention and security-related reporting by noting damaged property, unsecured doors, trailer and dock activity, and/or other concerns encountered during patrols.
