About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing reliability, integrity, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and support the orderly flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries on site.
• Assist with security-related checks of trailers, gates, and/or shipping and receiving areas while maintaining visible presence and communicating with site contacts regarding operational concerns.
