Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, corridors, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report maintenance and life-related system issues, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
• Support property operations by assisting with tenant and guest inquiries, following post orders, and maintaining a professional presence throughout changing working environments and conditions.
