About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol with Active Clearance in Williamsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aero/defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain a visible presence throughout the site. You will support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations in accordance with site policies, escalating questions, discrepancies, and/or restricted area concerns as needed.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, and reporting observed conditions that may require follow-up.
