As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will complete routine patrols with a primarily driving post, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and reporting using site technology. You will represent Allied Universal with professional customer service and clear communication, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a team and acting with integrity. A valid driver’s license is required. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or public services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
