About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver in Ashville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license for mobile patrol coverage and quick response. You will document observations, follow post orders, and deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around exterior areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verifying authorization, documenting entries and/or exits and directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Document patrols, incidents and unusual observations in written reports and/or electronic logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
