You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrol rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, document observations, and deliver customer service with integrity. This post requires a valid drivers license and the ability to meet AU Driver Policy requirements, while working with a reliable, caring team.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aviation and aerospace location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, perimeter routes, and restricted access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, check identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor entries, deliveries, and unusual conditions according to post orders.
• Operate and observe CCTV, alarms, and communications systems, and complete accurate reports and logs for incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
