As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Springfield, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity every day.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific instructions.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and support a professional work environment through clear communication and attention to site procedures.
