About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Marshall, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and employee entry areas for security-related concerns and promptly communicate findings to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
