About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a luxury retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-focused culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity, access points, and high-value merchandise areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with access control for employees and vendors, and follow post orders related to alarm response, incident notification, and/or emergency procedures.
