About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Oxford, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter, noting hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and following location procedures for personnel and deliveries.
  • Support operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by remaining aware of restricted areas, following posted instructions, and communicating security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
