About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in LEWISTON, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and supporting a welcoming environment for patients and guests.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
